In 1974, Union Foods Incorporated began operations in Costa Mesa, California with the goal of making the highest quality ramen products. Solafide Incorporated purchased the company on June 1, 2005. The Company now does business under the name Union Foods Newcorp and is currently located in Irvine, California.

October 2007: In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, Union Foods participated in Festival Cardenas at the California Speedway in Fontana, CA on October 14th. The crowd of over 13,000 people was excited to learn that Enchilosa cups are now available at Cardenas Markets.

August 2007: In connection with our partnership with Union Rescue Mission, we sponsored and helped serve a Gourmet Soup luncheon at their downtown Los Angeles facility. Approximately one-thousand meals were served.

May 2007: We sponsored a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta during the first week of May at the Boys & Girls Club-Santa Ana. Approximately one hundred (100) children gathered on the club's back lawn to learn about the milestone Battle of Puebla. In addition to a special guest speaker, games, face painting, and pinatas-the children were able to sample our newest products, Fiesta (which are now available in Albertson's).

Our new line of next generation noodles, specifically created for health conscious and environmentally friendly consumers, were launched in early 2007.  Check them out!
